Married Adults

Couples have struggles and challenges that can be answered from God’s word.  Each Sunday morning, married adults meet to learn what the Bible teaches about the practical issues of daily living.  Couples gather together to encourage one another and build lasting friendships.
 

Single Adults

Calvary offers an exciting alternative for singles in the Montgomery area.  Bible studies provide an atmosphere for spiritual growth and fellowship.  Trips, fun activities, and special events provide a time of getting away and spiritual enrichment.  Our singles ministry encompasses all stages of single adult life.
 

Senior Adults

We recognize senior adults as loving and caring individuals who desire opportunities for continued spiritual growth, companionship, and self-expression.  The anchor for senior adults is Sunday morning Bible study in an exciting atmosphere with a Spirit-led teacher.  Monthly programs, luncheons, socials, tours and trips are also planned throughout the year.  Volunteer service is also a part of our senior adult ministry.  Our seniors participate in visiting shut-ins, sharing God’s word in nursing homes, assisting with various church projects, and providing meals for grieving families.
 

Men

Our men’s ministry is designed to provide opportunities for the men of Calvary Baptist Church to work and fellowship together.  Quarterly fellowship suppers are planned with good singing, great food, a challenging message, and fun for all.  At least once or twice a year, a fellowship is planned for fathers and sons.  A men’s Bible study class is available where issues of particular concern to men are addressed and everyone is reminded of his spiritual responsibilities to family, church, and country.  Our men are also involved in various outreach ministries, such as rescue missions, detention centers, and door-to-door soul winning.
 

Women

The women’s ministry seeks to provide biblical instruction to enrich the spiritual life of the Christian woman and to share the message of salvation with the unsaved. We have a number of events scheduled throughout the year to build Christ-centered relationships through social activities and personal interaction with fellow believers.  Opportunities for service in the church and help to those in need are unlimited, along with encouragement and support for the Christian woman in her family, church, social and professional life. Sunday Bible studies are provided for women, as well as a weekly prayer and visitation opportunity on Tuesday mornings at 9:30.
